I Want from Others Around Me?
Sometimes, if there is a lack of support to attend a CEO Space session, it comes from the other party thinking CEO Space is "another one of THOSE" programs they suspect won't work. Prior to arrival this can be a frequent CEO theme from the teams involved in first time attendance. No one wants to see the cost in time and funds turn out to be another seminar or workshop. Over twenty years later CEO SPACE appreciates some may still unfairly compare us to more limited offerings.
Again, risk is always the issue--Including the risk of winning.
Your activity might then become one of asking rather than telling. Ask "how could leading business training, affiliated with a major global University, hurt anyone in my position?"
Ask your "others" to give you neutrality if they can’t give you full support. Ask them what harm can come from meeting new mentors and coaches? Ask what harm can come from learning very advanced MBA level entrepreneur fresh skills and methods? Inform them that your research has concluded that CEO SPACE enjoys a good international reputation, has helped a great number of people, and offers an honest program with opportunities for a lifetime of support with only one tax-benefited investment. Let them know "execution" is always up to you... and YOU as the decision maker are the RISK... and you are asking for your life partner to allow you to take the risk to acquire new mentors and to make better decisions, by obtaining ongoing support that is now lacking from outside experts who will impart new skills to you. How could that result harm you in any way?
